August is for Aston Martins at RM Sotheby’s Monterey-Guest Blog by RM Sotheby’s

RM Sotheby’s, the world’s largest auction house for investment-quality automobiles, will again hold its crown jewel Monterey auction this 18–19 August at the Portola Hotel & Spa.

This year’s auction features an envious grouping of Aston Martin competition cars spanning some 70 years of British motorsport, including the most important Aston Martin ever built—the 1956 Aston Martin DBR1/1. Nicknamed “The One,” DBR1/1 is just one of six Aston Martin racing cars included in the auction of over 100 other collectable automobiles RM Sotheby’s will offer this year.

Those interested in bidding on “The One” or any of the other cars on offer can register on the RM Sotheby’s website or by visiting the registration desk onsite before the auction. The fee to register is $300.
